In the summer of 1998, Whitney did a tour of Europe. The shows were for her an opportunity to perform songs from "The Preacher's Wife" live in Europe. She was singing "I Love The Lord" and "I Go To The Rock" at all of the concerts, as well as some of her previous hits and a Diana Ross medley. The tour started in Halle, Germany on June 20, and ended by a benefit concert on July 11, in Ashaffenburg, with stops in France, Italy, the UK and other european countries. It was her 1st european tour in 5 years, and her first tour ever in 4 years.
