Narada Michael Walden handled 3 of the album's 11 songs, and the hot production team of LA Reid and Babyface did four, including the title song. Michael Masser again gave her a tender ballad, "After We Make Love", but she also produced a song herself (with Rickey Minor), the final number "I'm Knockin'". She was also joined by a couple of music titans: Stevie Wonder produced the duet "We Didn't Know" and joined her on the vocals, and Luther Vandross produced "Who Do You Love".
