In the spring of 1988, Whitney traveled to Europe to start the European leg of her World Tour. The shows there were also "in the round" and Whitney was led through the crowd to the stage. As usual, the tour was very successful. Whitney broke yet another record with a run of nine shows at London's Wembley Arena, which was the most by any solo performer at the time.
