Whitney Houston's 2nd album was simply entitled 'Whitney'. It was released in June and was a massive success, hitting the UK No. 1 and going to the top of the US album chart in its first week of release, making her the first female solo artist ever to do so. The album included a stream of chart-toppers, including "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", "Didn't We Almost Have It All", "So Emotional" and "Where Do Broken Hearts Go".
